Before Restoration
An old 30’s pond model arrived for restoration with all parts complete. Owner wanted new suit of sails, rigging and restored paint to original colours.

Restoring to Original Colours
After paint layers were removed, the original colours were reveled. The hull was conditioned and new colours started.

Bottom Coat
New blue paint masked off, bottom red applied.

Detail Missing
After deck refinished, parts that were missing had to be research before they were fabricated. Existing slide bar refinished.

Old refurbished parts and new fabrications installed.

Steering
New steering apparatus installed.

Swing Bar
Main Boom Sheet Swing Bar attached.

Model Stand
After deck fittings installed, new stand was constructed with a name plate.

New Sail
Old battons slid into new sail, brass rings hold Mainsail to mast.

New Forsail
New Foresail attached, stays and tackle installed.

After Restoration
Restored pond model, “Lipton Challenger” back at owners home..
